2007 Wreath Sale
It’s that time of year again; time to sell 4-H holiday wreaths!
Please help the Sussex County 4-H Foundation with this all important fundraiser. As in the past, we will be selling two different size wreaths (12 and 36 inch). These may be sold as is, or decorated with a ribbon and cones. All wreaths are made from beautiful double faced balsam fir.
Your club will receive one dollar for each 12” wreath (decorated or undecorated) and $5 for each 36” wreath sold; the more you sell the more money your club makes. But remember, profits from the sale support the Sussex County 4-H Foundation, which in turn supports an annual scholarship fund, travel to national 4-H events and 4-H programming throughout the county—including the new Shotwell Building at the Fairgrounds!
Selling wreaths helps your club and helps the whole Sussex County 4-H program.

Start taking orders now. Please return your orders to the Extension Office by Monday, November 12, 2007. Wreath pickup will be on the Saturday, November 17 2007.
Please assign one individual from your club to pick up the wreaths at the Sussex County Fairgrounds from 9 to 11:00 AM in the pavilion next to the Shotwell Building.
Money collected is to be brought to the Rutgers Cooperative Extension 4-H office located at the Homestead Complex, or can be mailed to, John C.Chanas at 906 Homestead Dr., Newton, NJ 07860. Please have your club name and a contact person listed with your payment.
Please Note: A limited number of extra wreaths will be available this year. If you need more (at the same price) please call CeCe Pattison at 973-383-4109.
Last year 13 clubs participated in the wreath sale, we need all 4-H clubs to help in this endeavor. Please give this worthwhile fundraiser your time and effort.
Wreath Flyer-NEW
To help you we’ve put together a flyer explaining the Sussex 4-H wreath sale. The flyer may be downloaded and opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader (freeware). There is a space on the front for you to add your club’s name and print as many copies as you need. The back panel of the brochure has been set up so that you may attach address labels for a mailing, if you choose. The inside of the flyer includes an order form.
You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open and modify the flyer
Club leaders you may also download a form for totaling your wreath sales. This may be printed out as hard copy or completed in Adobe Acrobat Reader, saved and printed.
