NJ 4-H Igniting Your Leadership Potential: The Art of Self Leadership

Before we lead others, we must be able to lead ourselves. The Art of Self Leadership focuses on how youth can build character based on integrity and emotional security, develop habits of self-discipline and initiative to achieve goals, and choose their own set of core values for making wise life decisions.

During each class meeting, we will examine images that represent leadership ideas based on the work of Dr. Tim Elmore and take part in reflect and respond questions, a self-assessment, and an exercise that students can apply to their everyday lives.

From 4 pm-5:30 pm, youth will log in once a week for a face-to-face with the instructor on the dates below and then complete some assignments asynchronously.

Tuesday, July 5th
