The Sussex County 4-H Foundation is again selling wreaths through local 4-H clubs.
Each year the Sussex County 4-H Foundation sponsors a holiday wreath sale through local 4-H clubs. This sale benefits the Foundation and Sussex County 4-H clubs.
There are two sizes and styles of wreaths being offered. The basic 12-inch wreath may be purchased as either decorated or plain. Decorated wreaths feature a festive red ribbon and pine cones. The plain wreath sells for $14, the decorated for $16.
The deluxe 3-foot wreath also comes in plain and decorated styles. The plain sells for $55, while the grand decorated version sells for $60. The scale and beauty of these larger wreaths will decorate your home beautifully during the holiday season.
4-H clubs will receive wreaths on November 23 and be able to deliver them afterward.
All wreaths are double-faced and made from balsam fir boughs. Their fragrance will convey the holiday spirit to friends, family, and guests during the holidays. You can feel good knowing your purchase has supported positive youth activities in Sussex County.
Funds raised by the Sussex County 4-H Foundation support activities by 4-H members such as scholarships, support for members to attend national 4-H events as well as the support of 4-H programming here in Sussex County.
Local 4-H clubs also receive funds for each wreath they sell to support their club’s activities throughout the year. While activities vary, 4-H provides youth with opportunities to learn new skills, practice community service and just have fun.
