The Fall 2019 Tractor Supply Company (TSC) 4-H Paper Clover Campaign will be held October 9-20, 2019.

Visit your local Tractor Supply in October and purchase a paper clover to help Sussex County 4-H members attend 4-H camps and leadership events.

Every year, 4-Her’s in Sussex County participate in a number of 4-H programs to help position them with the skills they need to succeed in their life and career. This fall, Tractor Supply Company (TSC) stores located in Sussex County and throughout New Jersey are continuing their long-standing partnership with 4-H for the 2019 Fall 4-H Paper Clover Campaign to make it possible for more youth in the community to experience 4-H’s youth-led, hands-on programming.

October 9-20, Tractor Supply customers can participate in the 4-H Paper Clover Campaign by purchasing paper clovers for $1 or more at checkout. The funds raised from the Tractor Supply 4-H Paper Clover Campaign will be used to provide scholarships for Sussex County 4-H members to attend national 4-H leadership conferences or camp programs.

Sussex 4-H clubs can participate by scheduling events at the Sussex Tractor Supply Company store. These can include anything from setting up a display table and project boards inside the store to having club members encourage customers to donate.

Additional ideas for instore participation: be a door greeter; help customers with their bags at checkout; set up a petting zoo; set up 4-H info booth; prepare an educational or promotional display; conduct a demonstration or presentation; bring an animal for people to see and touch. Answer questions related to care and management of that animal; and/or conduct a grooming demonstration.

Since it began in 2010, the partnership between Tractor Supply and 4-H has generated more than $14,500,000 in support across the nation. The fundraising effort provides support for youth to participate in 4-H opportunities and experiences at the county, state, and national level.
