Come find your “Arts Spark” in this STEP Arts Club! In this club, youth in grades 4–8 will be introduced to a variety of arts activities, allowing them to discover their preferred forms of self- expression. Each session will cover a different art form ( acting, visual art, creative writing, etc.) and will actively engage youth in “hands-on” artistic activities. Focus is on fun and putting imagination in action! Youth will have the opportunity to share their creations with each other. Sessions are limited to 25 youth, enrolled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Prior to the beginning of the club, registrants will receive information on any materials needed. Spark your imagination with “Finding My Arts Spark!” Grades 4 through 8 are welcome! Sessions will run on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00-4:00 pm on August 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, and 19.
Have an idea for a Webinar or Virtual STEP Club and/or interested in hosting one.
The 4-H from Home Team is looking for 4-H volunteers/Club leaders, 4-H Teens, etc. who may be interested in teaching youth a specific topic. Contact the 4‑H From Home team at 4hFromHome@njaes.rutgers.edu to share your thoughts or volunteer.

Igniting Your Leadership Potential
Are you ready for this? Igniting Your Leadership Potential is an exciting new 4-H program that brings leadership training right to your doorstep through online classes. Courses are designed for youth in grades 8-13 and offer an opportunity for them to learn about leadership, gain knowledge, sharpen their leadership skills, and prepare to lead. Youth will earn badges for each course they complete and can earn a certificate in leadership by completing four online courses.
Registration is OPEN for the two courses that will be offered starting on August 4. Each course meets 1.5 hours per week for four weeks. Youth will log-in once a week for a face-to-face with the instructor and then complete some assignments asynchronously. The cost per course is $25.00. Youth can register for one or both of the courses. The summer 2020 courses are:
Course 1 – Launching Into Leadership – This course will run every Tuesday in August (August 4, 11, 18 & 25, 2020), 3:00-4:30 pm.
