AMERICA’S HARDEST WORKING BOOT SUPPORTS AMERICA’S HARDEST WORKING KIDS IN 4-H

Georgia Boot is a proud partner of the National 4-H Council. We believe every kid should have the opportunity to be #GeorgiaBootStrong and create a better path #Fourward through the hands-on learning experiences that 4-H offers. These programs help build confidence, creativity, leadership, and resiliency, shaping our future leaders.

From now until August of 2023, we will offer various promotions on our website and at select retail partner locations. A portion of sales from these promotions will be donated to National 4-H Council to provide critical resources needed to support the organization’s efforts to empower our youth. Georgia Boot has committed to a minimum donation of $75,000 in 2021, $75,000 in 2022 and $85,000 in 2023.

Information and Programs For Our 4-H Parents and Leaders

Fall Back into 4H Leader Appreciation on Saturday, October 9 at 7pm

All Leaders are invited to attend our Fall Back into 4H Leader Appreciation meeting on Saturday, October 9 at 7 pm in the Shotwell Building. This will be a chance for leaders to socialize and get to know one another, as well as meet some of the new 4-H leaders. We also plan to highlight and recognize the hard work you, our leaders, continue to do to support our 4-H members and families.

Light refreshments will be served (coffee, tea, water) as well as cookie trays will be provided.

Coping with Covid complicated our 4-H meetings (and lives!) over the last 16 months! We’ll go over some 4-H basics such as club rules and best practices to make sure everyone is on the same page as we start the new project year. It would be greatly beneficial to have at least one leader from each club represented so all clubs receive this information.

Afterward, we will screen the annual Protection of Minors video (~25 minutes)-required by Rutgers for your re-enrollment. If you’re able to stay, we can check off this requirement for your appointment. (For those who struggle with technology, this may be a great option!)
